A Little White Lie

I told my boss that I'd already packed all my gear up for next week’s training retreat because I wasn't sure if everything would fit. But to be honest, I haven’t even started packing yet. I felt really bad lying about such a small thing, and now every time he mentions the trip, I cringe thinking maybe he's on to me.
