Been Thinking About Her Teacher

So lately I've been thinking about my ex-girlfriend's old teacher. She was really into him back in college, and I think she still might be. One night we were talking about our past relationships, and I kind of mentioned how they had this weird connection going on but never acted on it. It felt like there was more to their story than just a professor-student thing. After that, things got quiet between us for a while. She didn't really say much after that night, so maybe it's best left as just memories now. But sometimes I wonder what could have been if they did take the leap back then.
