After The Breakup At Work

So, I recently ended things with my long-term girlfriend of five years. We broke up after she accused me of being distant and not wanting to put in effort anymore. It was a tough conversation, but ultimately we both agreed it was for the best. I’m still trying to process everything; our relationship had been strained for months before that final talk. Fast forward two weeks later at work. She’s a regular customer who occasionally hits on me and has done so since way back when. Now, after our breakup, things got even more complicated. Last night was one of those nights where the bar felt like an escape from reality but also a reminder of it all over again. She came in around closing time and we had this odd dance going, she flirting with me heavily as I played the part of just doing my job. She ordered drinks, talked to me about how she misses us being together, hinted at wanting more than friendship now that things are over between us. As hard as it is for me to admit it, there was a part of me that wanted to give in, wanted to take advantage of her vulnerability and our mutual attraction. It’s not who I am or what I want, but the feelings were undeniable. Then she left without another word and I stayed until close like any other night. But leaving work last night felt different, I couldn’t shake off how close I had come to making a terrible decision based on old feelings and current loneliness. What if I did cave? What does that say about me? I just need some time to figure everything out now. My ex-girlfriend isn't the only thing clouding my judgment, there’s also this new guy at work who seems genuinely interested in getting to know me. It's a lot and I can’t help but feel conflicted every day.
