It Happened at Work... Sort of

So I work in retail, and it’s not like there’s a lot going on sexually. You know? It's just stuff to fill the day. But last week, my boyfriend came into the store to surprise me with lunch one day. And honestly, that was all it was supposed to be, he said 'hi' over at the counter while I scanned his stuff, we kissed for a bit out of sight of customers and chatted about how busy my shift had been. But later on, when I went into the break room with him to relax for a few minutes before heading home, things got kind of... heated. We didn't plan it or anything. It just sort of happened because we were alone in there, and it was late in the day and both of us had been looking forward to seeing each other all shift long. We ended up sitting on the floor by the fridge, he leaned against one side and I sat between his legs. Next thing you know, my hands are slipping under his shirt, touching him through his clothes. And then we were kissing again. It was pretty intense stuff for a moment there in the quiet break room. And really, even though it felt wrong to be doing this at work, and I'm sure anyone walking in would’ve been shocked!, it just felt so good to be close with him after our separate days apart. So much better than just getting a quick kiss at lunchtime. Anyway, once we calmed down, I knew I’d have to keep things professional when we got back out on the floor together. No need for awkwardness or rumors about us around coworkers and customers. But it’s one of those little secrets that made my day much more memorable than just another busy shift in retail.
