Another Casual Date Night

So last night, I went on what's now officially my fifth date with someone who seems nice enough but we're both playing it casual. We ended up at this place that was kind of a dive bar, not exactly the ambiance for romance. After a couple drinks, things got... interesting, shall we say? Let's just say there were some moves being made and I sort of left unsure if 'hookup' is now an expected norm in our budding relationship or if it's all still at my discretion. Anyone else been here before? Is this how modern dating works?
