Breaking Up by Breaking In...

I couldn't just walk away from her like she did me. She moved out the night I found out about him, and I waited until midnight to slip into my ex's new place. ...It was easy; no alarms, nothing. Inside, I went straight for her bed... still smelling of his cologne. I grabbed a handful of the pillows... stuffing them under her mattress with hers. Then, I took the photos off her walls and smashed them on the floor downstairs. Not my best moment, but it felt... right at the time. ...Would probably do it again if she gave me another chance to prove myself.
