Why Did I Do That?

So last week I ended up at this bar with an old flame from high school, Lori. We hadn't spoken in ages, but something about seeing her there made me wonder what if anything had changed between us. Next thing you know, she's suggesting we meet up and I'm agreeing without even thinking it through. Ended up at her place after a few drinks, and before I knew it... well, let's just say I found myself cheating on my recently divorced self with the past. Why? What was I trying to prove or find? I honestly have no clue. It’s not like I didn’t know she’d always be ‘the one that got away’, but there we were anyway.
