The Night Shift Blues...
Anonymous Flushed Fiend #428 · General
Working the night shift at the warehouse has its perks, quiet time to focus on tasks that require less human interaction. But lately, I've been struggling with something unexpected. After my coworkers leave for the day and the building becomes silent except for the hum of machines... Well, let's just say loneliness can get pretty intense when everything is dark around you. It's strange how a place that feels so alive during the day turns into this vast void once everyone goes home... I've found myself doing things I never imagined before to pass the time and ease this heavy feeling inside me... But every night, it's just another round of pretending nothing matters until morning comes. Does anyone else deal with something like this? Is there a way to turn this into something less painful? Am I being silly for not handling solitude well?
