A Day's Distraction...

Today was just another day working solo from home... I had planned to stay focused on my freelance projects all afternoon. But then it happened. She called, and before I knew it, we were talking about everything but work. A friend since college, she always knows how to make me feel at ease... Next thing I know, we've moved things online in a way that was never planned. The connection felt right somehow... Yet as the day ended, so did this spontaneous interlude. It left me wondering what it all means... Was it just a distraction or something more?
