felt like i was flying

so yeah my last relationship ended about a month ago and it was super sudden. my ex said they just wanted to take a break but then blocked me from all socials within hours. felt really blindsided, you know? thought we were good but apparently not. anyway ive been feeling pretty lost since then, lots of naps and late night snacks. but the other day i decided to download tinder. havent dated in years so wasnt sure what to expect. long story short, got a message from someone named cassie who seemed really cool. we talked for hours last night about everything from fav movies to past relationships. she said she understood the whole new again feeling too. anyway this morning i woke up and there was another message asking if i wanted to meet up in person. my heart was beating so fast i thought it might jump out of my chest. feels like a second chance at dating, you know? kinda giddy thinking about what could happen next. its crazy how a simple app can give you hope again.
