i did something crazy at work last night

so yeah i'm a nurse been doing this for over a decade now mostly working in the er and stuff. always thought of myself as pretty professional, you know, keeping things strictly business and all that. but last night, something just clicked inside me. maybe it was all the stress or just the right mix of fatigue and frustration with how badly we were understaffed, i don't really know. we had this patient, a guy in his mid-thirties who was brought in pretty drunk and high from whatever. he was causing trouble mostly with the staff and not taking any orders well at all. just when things seemed to be calming down though, he suddenly gets this panic attack or something and starts freaking out even more. so there i am trying my best to calm him down but nothing's really working until... yeah it's a bit silly but i was thinking about these old college sex stories of mine and suddenly thought why not? just went for it. started whispering dirty things in his ear, told him how hot he looked all sweaty like that and asked if he wanted me to take care of him. he stopped freaking out almost instantly and we ended up doing some serious makeout action right there on the gurney before i managed to get him sedated with consent. honestly never thought in a million years this would happen but it felt so damn good. afterwards, just felt this rush of power and control like nothing else ever has. anyways yeah i'm still working things out in my head here, no clue if it'll be the start of something or just some random weird one-off thing between total strangers that never happened again after last night. but damn did it feel good at the time
