Caught In The Moment

I ended things with my long-term partner last week and have been exploring what it means to be single again. Yesterday, I went out for drinks with some friends and found myself drawn to a woman I've admired from afar for years. We hit it off, the conversation flowed easily, and before I knew it, we were in her place, kissing passionately. It felt like an instant connection, but when it came time to take things further, she pulled back, saying she wasn't ready. I respected that, left with a mix of excitement and disappointment, and now find myself replaying the moment over and over.
