guilt of a slip-up

i recently got divorced and started seeing someone new who is really good for me. our relationship is solid, yet there was this moment where i slipped up and cheated on them. it wasn't planned or anything; just one night that i regret now more than ever. the guilt eats at me because they deserve better. i know what happened was a mistake, but it still makes me question myself every day.
