Just Another Day

So today was just another day at home with the kids. They were off playing in the backyard while I caught up on some work and had a video call with my partner's other significant person. We've been doing this for a while now, and it's become quite routine. The conversation took an unexpected turn when they suggested we meet up soon to try something new, maybe exploring our fantasies together without limits. It's not like I haven't thought about it myself; there are times when the boredom of everyday life makes me crave more excitement. But then again, I have to think about the kids too. Maybe tonight after they're asleep, I'll message them and see what they’re up for. There’s this fantasy I’ve had where we get into some roleplay involving power dynamics, but I’m not sure how to bring it up without making it sound like a serious issue. It's all just an idea at the moment, really.
