Playing the Student

I've always been fascinated by teacher/student power dynamics in a consensual setting. I recently roleplayed as a student with an older woman, who was playing the role of my high school teacher. Despite knowing she's not actually my teacher and that everything is consensual, the dynamic felt incredibly real. She had this air of authority that made me feel like I was back in high school again. We did things that would have been completely inappropriate if they were real, but we both agreed on boundaries beforehand to ensure it stayed within safe limits. The roleplay lasted for a couple of weeks, meeting at least twice a week after class hours. It felt exhilarating and also slightly disturbing. I'm not sure how common this kind of fantasy is or if there's anything unhealthy about it. Have any of you explored something similar? Is it normal to be intrigued by power dynamics in such an adult context?
