...I kissed her neck too hard in the break room...

So it's been one of those weeks where you just want to crawl back into bed and hide from the world. I've been working long hours, barely eating lunch, and feeling like a zombie at 3pm every day. My girlfriend understands but I know she's probably getting tired of me complaining all the time. Anyway... today was bad. Really bad. We were out for drinks after work and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I just wanted to be home in bed by nine. She must have picked up on it because at one point, she leaned over and kissed my neck really softly. It was like... a reminder that someone cares, you know? It made me feel weirdly guilty but also kind of needy. So we end up getting into the car and I'm just trying to hold it together until we get home. She starts kissing my neck again in the parking lot though, this time a little more insistently. And suddenly... one of her kisses got a bit too hard, and there was blood on my shirt collar when she pulled away. Just a tiny cut but still... I feel terrible now about how I reacted. At first I freaked out because we were in the break room at work, everyone could have seen! And then I ended up getting kind of angry at her... saying it's 'inconsiderate' and stuff like that when really, she was just trying to help me relax. But here I am late at night replaying it over and over again... what if the reason I lashed out is because there's something else going on? Maybe I'm more stressed than I thought or just tired of being the one who's always taking care of me. Or worse, maybe she thinks I don't want to be with her anymore? I've been messaging my therapist and we have a session next week but... man this has been gnawing at me ever since it happened. Now every time she texts me asking how my day was, I feel like I'm just avoiding the real issues by lying about it being okay. ...
