Caught Red-Handed

I lied to my partner last week when he asked if I had any secret vices. I told him no, but what I really meant was that I didn't have a vice he wouldn't approve of or dislike. But it's the little lies that get you, I sneakily order candy and snacks online and eat them all myself while pretending to be healthier than I am. It was easy to cover up until one day when he caught me sneaking empty wrappers into the trash. I felt like crap for a second but then just shrugged it off, knowing there are worse things in life to lie about.
