Ex's Surprise Return

I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend after catching him lying about a few things. We had some intense moments together, and I was pretty sure everything ended there until last week. He showed up at the coffee shop where I work looking all flustered. Before he could say anything, I told him I’d accept only one thing from him, his favorite drink. As soon as I handed it over, he left without a word. It felt good to take control and show him there was no going back.
