After the Split

I barely thought about it until now. Just walking out of that house last week felt like starting over with more than just paperwork and new furniture. I was trying to forget, really, but there he was at the party, all rugged stubble and easy smiles... We hadn't seen each other since before our divorce papers were even signed, and suddenly it's this intense thing. Just a quick touch or a look in his eyes, and everything feels so alive again. It's like the past two years never happened. Oh man.
