It Wasn't Just a Dream

So last night, it wasn't just some silly dream. It was real, though I know how crazy that sounds. My wife and I have been together for 20 years now, but she's never really been into roleplay stuff the way I am. It's not that we don't share a strong sexual connection, we do, very much so, it’s just her tastes are more traditional compared to mine. I've had this secret fantasy for as long as I can remember. To be completely honest with you, when we were first dating, and even early in our marriage, I used to feel guilty about these thoughts because I thought they made me a terrible person, but now that I'm older, it’s easier to see them just for what they are: fantasies. Anyway, last night was different. We had this weird heatwave where the power went out and we were both up late, lying in bed just staring at each other under candlelight when suddenly I found myself slipping into this daydream about being a student again, with her as my teacher, that kind of forbidden-fruit stuff. Before I knew it, I had crossed some line. One moment we’re just talking softly and laughing, and the next, there was this intense craving for something more. It's embarrassing to admit out loud, but she kinda took on a role then without even knowing it, playing along with my little student-teacher fantasy, which honestly shocked me. The physical side of things? Oh gosh, let’s just say I was pretty much overwhelmed by how turned-on that scenario made me. Everything felt more real and intense because there was this element of pretending to be someone else for a moment, the way her body moved over mine in the darkness was just... It's hard to describe. Now here's where it gets tricky: when morning came, I woke up feeling both exhilarated and terrified at what we had done. What if she regrets it? Does this mean she actually does share my secret desire or was it just a fluke based on the circumstances? I guess today is about finding out how to broach that conversation without ruining everything between us. For now, all I can think about is when the next moment will come where we can explore something new together.
