The Lie I Told My Partner

Last week, my partner asked if I had a big tip at work. I lied and said yes because I wanted to make them happy. In reality, I spent the money on a small indulgence for myself. It was a stupid little thing, but I felt guilty about it. If caught, I might do it again just because it made my partner smile, even if it wasn't true.
