...A Night Shift Surprise...

So there I was, working the night shift at the warehouse, mindlessly sorting boxes with a bottle of water for company. I had been seeing this guy on and off, nothing serious, but we had these amazing nights where everything just felt right. He’s a good friend, smart and funny, but when it comes to him...it's like my head spins and all I can think about is getting closer. Tonight was different though. We were messaging back and forth while I worked, and somehow the flirting turned heated really fast. There was this moment where we both just knew what would happen if either of us left their current location. So after our last message, something like 'see you soon' or maybe it was just a heart emoji, he showed up at my shift. It felt so wrong but also completely perfect as he walked through the door, looking like he couldn’t wait to touch me. I had these moments where I’d look up from my work and see him standing there...waiting for something that neither of us could stop. It was one of those nights when everything just worked out...and we were alone with no interruptions. ...It's funny how sometimes you can be in the middle of something important at work, but then suddenly it’s all about this other thing taking over your mind and body....
