The Break

I was recently separated from my partner after 15 years of marriage... It’s hard to put into words exactly what happened without feeling the weight of it all over again. We were drifting apart for a while, and then one day, it just felt like there wasn’t anything left to hold onto. After the divorce papers, I found myself reflecting on our time together but mostly on how little control we had over these things... Sometimes life changes direction without asking.
