A Night Off Duty

I was on call last week when my boyfriend stopped by. We've been together for years and things have always been great, but that night I couldn't resist the thrill of roleplaying a patient-nurse dynamic with him. It felt wrong yet exhilarating as he pretended to check me in for 'treatment' while lying on my exam table. Even now, I'm not sure what to make of it.
