Forgot the Milk Again

So I did something totally not cool this week. Oh wait, you thought it was about sex? No, just a little lie I told my wife yesterday. She asked if I remembered to pick up milk at the store and I said yes because why would I want to make an extra trip back in bad weather? The thing is, we were out of cereal too but I figured that wasn’t important enough to go back for. But now she’s mad and won’t talk about it... or maybe she just doesn't feel like talking. So here's the thing, sometimes these little lies seem small at the time, but they kind of pile up don't they? I should know better by now though, right? Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day and I'll remember to get both the milk and the cereal this time.
