The One Time I Spent Way Too Much Energy Trying to Be Subtle

So there's this one person, Alex, who doesn't get my kinks at all. We're together, but it's just not a shared interest. Anyway, last week we went on a camping trip and I thought 'Hey, why not try?' Ended up spending the whole weekend subtly hinting about a rope and being tied up in the woods, classic moves, really. Of course, Alex had no idea what I was talking about. By Sunday night, I realized it wasn't going anywhere. We got back home and just went our separate ways for a bit to cool off from all that wasted energy. Sigh... maybe one day.
